My wife and I just recently left Sprint PCS for Verizon Wireless and Verizon is much nicer, because even though Sprint had great coverage and excellent reception, Sprints customer service has gone downhill since Sprint merged with Nextel and now I can see why Sprint is losing a lot of customers through Verizon. Otherwise, my wife and I would have stayed with Sprint if Sprint wouldn't have merged with Nextel along with the fact that Nextel has always sucked, because even though we were told Nextel would improve their coverage eventually when they merged with Sprint, it never happened. So anyone else who is with Sprint should consider switching to Verizon, because I think you'll more than likely be happier with Verizon, since Verizon is a better company.

Sprint is the best. Great reception. The free incoming plan is tops. I don't even need a home phone with this plan. Internet browsing is fast on the phone. Even dropped internet on the home PC. Receive a huge corporate discount from where I work. Internet radio is great. Cs has worked with me on every issue. Switching from Nextel was the best move I've ever made.

I have had three lines with sprint for about 5 years now. In the beginning the customer service was great but ever since the merger with Nextel it is total crap. Their rate plans have gone up alot as I am looking at getting new phones right now and certain parts of my account have to be upgraded. My account is grandfathered and they have tried in the past to say I had to change. At this point I will be going back to Verizon and considering Cingular, but I will not stay with sprint.

I've had Sprint for almost a year now. So far no dropped calls... EVDO is lightning fast. No complaints whatsoever.

I have been with Sprint for many years. They started off with some spotty service in South Florida, but that is no longer the case from my own experience. Pros: Soild service, no static, very few dropped calls. I have not been to a place where there was not Sprint service. Even in warehouse stores and stadiums. Great deals on plans and services. $10 and $15 PDA data access. Very large EV-DO coverage. Sprint is the only CDMA carrier to use Java. So you get to use free applications. Sprint also waved the less then 50% roaming. Now your roaming is counted as normal minutes. So peak minutes deduct from your bucket and night and weekends are unlimited. Cons: I would say Sprint has had some problems with customer support. They are getting better. E-mails to support come back within a few hours. And most reps are helpful and willing to give credits for mistakes. With any carrier you have to pick the right service for you. Just don't go by commercials, or claims of "leading independent research" or "Most dependable network". Read the fine print on those to see the loop holes that they can get away with. For me and the people I have talked into switching to Sprint, we are very happy. If you live in a weak spot for any carrier, you might want to try a repeater. This is just a few suggestions.

I have had Sprint PCS service for more than 5 years. I have always found their customer service to be great. Their coverage away from metro areas used to be spotty, but I think it is better now. It is strange, but the weakest reception is right inside my home. 50 feet outside the door and it is great again. I have an LG PM 225 cell phone and I really like it a lot. My only complaint with the cell phone is that when you charge it both the external and internal LCD screens are fully lit and stay that way as long as it is charging.

I've been with Sprint home long distance and wireless for 15+ years. Experienced the highs and lows. Sure they've had growing pains; they all have. Sprint's always gone the extra mile to make me happy. They know how competitive the industry is and they want to keep their customers. Stay with them and you'll get loyalty treatment, too.
They've grown tremendously and their coverage has far surpassed the competitors..especially with nights starting at 6pm, instead of having to wait until 9pm with the other guys.
Can't remember the last time I had a dropped call--I live in a rural area and travel rurally,, too.
I can't justify spending more money for fewer features.
Great plans, features and prices....now superior coverage.
Thanks Sprint

I have had sprint for about a year and I'm completely satisfied. Coverage is great along with clarity. Had all providers and Sprint is by far the best. Never had to use customer service for any reason. The $29.95 plan was best for me with weekends and nights starting at 7pm; absolutely satisfied.

Been surprisingly happy with my Sprint PCS service since I switched from Verizon. I only wanted a newer high-tech phone and agreed to just "try-out" the Sprint service for a week or so. The service was so clear and reliable that I paid the early termination fee to cancel Verizon and use Sprint exclusively. I don't experience dropped calls or static - EVER!!! Always a strong signal regardless of my location around town - and I never miss any calls. No one ever knows I am talking to them on a cell - it's that clear!!! I hope things stay this way!!!

I've had Sprint for a few years now and I absolutely love it. The coverage is good, customer service has always been great, and the plans can't be beat!! I would recommend it to anyone out there looking for a new cell phone provider.
